Folderscope is a simple utility for analysing folders. Its main advantage is the ability to work effectively with huge directories that contain lots of files. The application scans a user-defined folder and shows all the files located in its subfolders. Scanning time depends on your computer power. All the detected files appear on a special list and can be sorted in different ways: by type, by name, by size and many more. The program offers effective tools for searching, marking, removing and copying files.
The program's main window contains a special tab called ‘Pending Changes’. It contains records about all the changes that have taken place in the examined directory.
Folderscope can be used for various tasks. For example, with its help you can back up important data from your main hard drive to an external drive. Folderscope is absolutely free and its only disadvantage is the lack of a detailed help file. The application supports all the most widespread versions of Windows, including the latest "7" version.
